About Sharon Cruz

Across all our services, we want to provide you with commercially- savvy, expert legal advice that is easily integrated and actionable in your world.

With over a decade of experience in both criminal and civil litigation, Sharon Cruz is a passionate advocate for justice. A graduate of IU-Indy (’10) and IU McKinney School of Law (’13), she served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County (Chicago) before spending five years as an Assistant Attorney General for Illinois in the High Tech Crimes and Environmental Crimes Bureaus. She became the point person for all anti human trafficking work in the state of Illinois, building coalitions and establishing task forces to harness resources and improve the system’s response to an endemic issue. As a civil litigator, Sharon fought against Big Tech privacy violations and was involved in class action suits against Google, Facebook, and Amazon, and she defended small businesses and local hospitals when they were victims of hackers.

Sharon is an advisory member of the Legal and Insurance Workgroup of the Indiana Executive Cybersecurity Council and currently serves as the Executive Vice President of the IU McKinney School of Law Alumni Association Board. She is an active core leader for Hoosier Asian American Power (HAAP) and engaged with local politics. In her free time, Sharon serves as Board President for local community theater Epilogue Players and sings with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir as a second soprano.
